I think this entry is so welcoming and beautiful, and it perfectly rounds up some ideas for weekend projects.
house and home
{1} Frame a piece of wallpaper or fabric with trim molding to create a statement wall.
{2} Go antiques shopping!
{3} Paint your trim or a door, or both, dark for a change.
{4} Paint your brick wall white.
{5} Cut something green from the garden and bring it inside to freshen up your space.
Enjoy the weekend, dears! I'll be finishing painting my stair floors (at least the exposed parts) in preparation for laying the runner. And I'll be stopping at Ikea to pick up the goods. Wish me luck at Ikea on a Saturday!

Ooh, I love the painted door!! Have a great weekend, Casey. Hopefully, the sun will decide to come out!!!
Good luck with your project and my fingers are crossed that all goes well. Love the framed wall paper idea. Might have to put some leftover grass cloth to use.
Simplicity I love it!
This IS a gorgeous picture. I think I'll pin it. I had to take a second look to see that there was molding with some kind of wall covering. Also, I just can't get enough of round mirrors. I love them so much and this space would be entirely different with a rectangular or square mirror, no?
I hope you made it out of Ikea alive!

Oooh, this is really pretty, Casey!!! Still waiting for a warm day to paint my front door:(
Great photo - but Ikea on a Saturday? I wish you the best of luck - that's a brave move. ;)
this room looks great. What colour is on the door? I would love to buy that paint.
Thanks for your comment, Nicole Jane. I wish I knew the color! The picture came from a magazine -- and never named it! Such a pretty gray-green though.
