e-design
If you're out of town, e-design is a fun, easy long-distance collaboration by email and phone that gets you a new room design quickly that you can then implement on your own. You provide: ideas for and challenges in the space, pictures of the room, inspiration images of rooms or products you love, and detailed measurements of the room. You get: a floor plan of your new room layout, a shopping list, and an idea board that illustrates the specific furniture pieces, fabrics, accessories, and paint colors you'll need to achieve the design and transform your room.

If you're anywhere in the Boston area (or even New England—email me to discuss), you can take advantage of a full-service design. We start with a meeting in your home to discuss your ideas and specify your goals for the space, get a sense of your style, assess the room's challenges, and take detailed measurements. After this meeting I'll work to create a detailed floor plan; an idea board showing choices for paints, furniture, fabrics, and accessories; and a shopping list for recommended items—along with a final "installation" visit where I'll help you hang art, place furniture and accessories, and put the finishing touches on your new space.
A complete room design is charged on a project basis, depending on the size of your room and scope of your project. For clients who want a little more hands-on help, whether it's looking at fabrics, testing out furniture, or selecting art or accessories in person, design help is available at an hourly rate.
