It's about time for an announcement! Our beautiful girl Emerson, now 10 days old, was born at 12:08 am on October 6, 2012, weighing 9 lbs and measuring 20.5 inches. A big girl! It was a tough labor and delivery, but she and I are now doing just fine. And proud papa is doing wonderfully too. We're in heaven and savoring every precious moment. I'll be back to blogging as soon as I can tear myself away from her, which right now I honestly cannot imagine ever wanting to do!

How adorable. You know not all babies are cute, she is really a pretty girl! I love big babies. I had two 9 pounders myself. They are so squishy! And to top it all off, your daughter and I share a birthday. Congratulations!
