Celebrating the seasons with a bit of decor makes me happy, as long as the elements are natural and feel timeless. The autumn pairing of an urn and pumpkins/gourds, whether indoors or out, is one combo I really adore. It is simple to do, feels classic, and looks effortlessly elegant.



In honor of fall's arrival, I put together a little vignette of my own (in about 5 minutes with the urn we use as a Christmas tree stand!) much like the one in the first image on our front steps. Please excuse the half-painted front porch—clearly what I should have been doing instead of playing with pumpkins! Have you decorated for fall yet?
