Happy Friday, all! If you're looking for something to do this weekend, might I recommend a little time in the kitchen? Any time I spend creating something is time I love—and time creating something wonderful to eat and share is no exception. Last night, I made this and it was absolutely delicious.
It's a peach blueberry galette, recipe from Tartelette, the beautiful, scrumptious blog of French transplant and former pastry chef Helen Dujardin. Her incredible recipes are worth trying, her lifestyle is worth emulating, and her food styling and photography will have you drooling.
Ditto for my other new addiction: Nicole Franzen's blog La Buena Vida. Absolutely stunning photography, excellent recipes with simple fresh ingredients, and just gorgeous eye candy each and every day.

Yum! I love evenings spent mincing garlic, listening to music, and drinking good wine (or even bad wine). Thanks for the link.

Great post! I don't know if it is b/c fall is approaching but I'm somewhat in the nesting mode spending a lot of time in the kitchen. Tonight I'm making homemade green tomato pizza (and drinking some red wine) from this blog: http://www.dinneralovestory.com/
She's v. talented and was just in Sept's feature of Whole Living. I'm off to check the link you posted! Have a great weekend!
That looks so good!!!! I wish I had more time to spend in the kitchen (other than painting it) I really enjoy food but unforetunetly that part of my life gets pushed aside.
Thanks for posting these!!
That galette looks divine!!! I just love that combination too - 2 of my favorite fruits!
How nice to see a photo of Gramercy Tavern too - it's one of my all-time favorite restaurants in NY! LOVE IT!
I love that photo of the Gramercy tavern, the type, perfection, the flowers peeking through, the reflection of the other building...makes my heart ache for missing New York.
Well thanks everyone. Thanks for writing this post and loving my work. And thanks to the others who mentioned they liked my pics from Gramercy :)
