I've been painting trim and walls and doors in my living room all weekend, and while it's exhausting, some crisp white semi-gloss paint has really made such a world of difference in this room. It now really feels classic and timeless and stylish. Still, I wish my woodwork were in better condition (but it's original and this house is old!). I'm envious of these gorgeous walls with perfect moldings that have caught my eye lately.

I like them all Casey, but I think the Thibaut image is wonderful. And that last image, yum. Is that your house? No matter the color, molding adds a ton of character to a room.

I like the blue paneled walls more than I thought I would. White always looks so crisp though. I'm trying to talk my mom into painting the paneling in her family room white for a cottage like feel, but she wants to get rid of it all together. Wish I could convince her, the house is located on a large pond so white paneling would be ideal.

I'm partial to white paneled walls, but the last picture (is that Amy Meier's work?) is stunning!! I mean I LOVE it and would love to do that in a cozy den or office!! I'm glad to hear the hard work paid off this weekend!!!
We want so much to use this in a project it adds so much to a room.We really like it half wall like in the first photo.
