a girls' room in raspberry and turquoise

One girl likes pink, one likes blue, so what to do? I decided we should just use both and make it work! I'm so excited that this shared girls' room is finally painted and that I'll be able to get in there next week to decorate. Final photos coming soon!

Beautiful! I would love to have this myself.

Love the color palette and that the girls were consulted about their favorite colors. My mom painted my sister's and my room Pepto Bismol pink and bought matching bedding and we hated pink. I'm still dreaming of the lavender and yellow room we would have liked. LOL!

I can't wait to see the finished product, the materials you picked out are so fun.

Love it. If you get a chance to look at some photos of this year's San Francisco Showcase house then you would love what Green Couch did to the top two rooms. They are a play on one another - one is colourful and the other is monochromatic - there's a tiny wall dividing the two with a peek threw. Both have the same furniture, chandelier and floor plan. Very interesting!

Excellent combination of the two colors, which I would have thought would be difficult to combine -- until now! This is going to sound silly to you, but the post reminds me of a my girls' favorite book called Which Witch is Which? by Pat Hutchins. It's about twin sisters who dress the same for Halloween -- one likes pink and one likes blue, which is how you can tell them apart.
