Anyway, it's really the pattern here that I love. And it'd be a great diy project if you're willing to give it a try. I love that they laid the beadboard panels on the diagonal and alternated the direction. Makes these panels even more interesting. What do you think?

What a smart, and affordable, idea. Beadboard and trim can be had for very little.
P.S. I'm totally loving the images that BH&G is putting out lately. Lots of inspiring ideas!
This makes me want to take a woodworking class. I hear they have lab hours where you can use the tools for free, and with an instructor on hand to help. Hmmm.

The diagonal pattern references a time, before plywood, when carpenters used diagonals to stabilize doors and walls. This wall looks exactly like a well-built barn door.
