Our chrome shower rod is not too old but it's obviously cheaply finished because it's already getting rusty (gross!). I've been wanting to replace it with a bamboo curtain rod, which I just love for its natural, chic look—plus I think it'd last a lot longer. No rust at least. And I love this look.
Of course then I'll want a new shower curtain. Something I can make myself out of a really great fabric. Maybe a simple two-color large print. Something like this.
I would love to eat breakfast in this wide-open kitchen with a living trellis wall nearby...

I love how this mirror over the nightstand visually balances the doorway on the other side of the bed. Genius. Plus I just love a big something (mirror, art) over a nightstand.

I still like this diy shopping bag art and must do it someday. Add it to the project list.

Told you it was random. What are you thinking today?

Like all your thoughts - I love a good bamboo rod, a fabric shower curtain for a little custom touch, that breakfast nook (as I scarf down my syrup drenched eggos at my computer) and I like the idea of using a mirror to create symmetry! Happy Tuesday, Casey!
My mind like yours - all over the place. Love the idea of the bamboo rod & look forward to seeing how you attach it. Aah that trellis! Glad you had a great weekend!
Like your randomness today, Case. I am thinking of that foot of your's and wondering if you'll be up to running all over Italy soon. And the fact that you'll be celebrating the big 4 - Oh very soon. Exciting times!
Casey, we must be on the same page because I'm dying to make my own shower curtain. As for the weather, it's dreary here in Philly and I welcome the fall with open arms!
I love brain dump posts and I have one coming as well because I have so many random thoughts just like you. I have loved that shopping bag art - so fun. And that kitchen with the outdoor open area - love. I'm thinking that I need to get out my fall decor and I really want to get my fall to-do list together which is getting rather lengthy. And ugh, tomorrow is my back to work day, UGH!!!
I'm freezing cold and headachy and grumpy. But somehow blog surfing makes it better.
p.s. Thanks for the link.
oh, now I'm thinking of all the bags I need to frame and how weird my husband is going to think I am. Love love love, that picture!!!!

You never disappoint. I'd not thought to use a bamboo pole as a curtain rod, but that thing would never rust, tarnish, chip, or mildew. Love it!

Where did you find that first picture??? I would love to see more of that place...
Hi Anon, I have searched and searched and cannot find where that original image came from! Anyone else know the source?
