friday food: williams-sonoma recipes

Has anyone else become obsessed with the recipes peppered throughout the Williams-Sonoma catalog? They always look rich, decadent, gourmet, full of flavor. And time-consuming. But after having tried a few, from the catalog and the website, I can tell you if you have the time they are so worth it. W-S knows what they're talking about when it comes to food, people. And these slow cooking, take-your-time meals are just right for fall.

We recently had the Smothered Pork Chops. Not exactly light and healthy, but a nice twist on yummy comfort food. Delicious. Oh and I love meals that are even better left over. This recipe is one of those.

Next up on my list to make is Braised Chicken Pappardelle. I really wish we were going to be home this weekend, because this would be Sunday night dinner. YUM.

This may also be the best Baked Eggplant Parmesan ever. If I had the time I would make this every week. I'm not even kidding.

The Pasta with Green Beans, Potatoes, and Pesto is an old standby too. It's nice to have some meatless dishes in the repertoire that are so satisfying. Check out more W-S recipes perfect for the season here.

What are you cooking these days?

{disclaimer: This post is completely my own opinion, and I have in no way been compensated by Williams-Sonoma, unfortunately, for what you read here!}

I'm going to have to try that eggplant parm recipe myself. I'm an eggplant parm junkie.
One of my all time favorite go-to recipes is from Williams-Sonoma. It is their classic ceasar salad recipe. Hopefully, it is still on their website!

That braised chicken and pasta dish looks excellent! I need to print that one out.

It's barely 9 am right now and I want to make all of these. Actually, I want someone else to make all of these FOR me. Thanks for sharing and inspiring what might be Saturday or Sunday night's dinner.

Thanks, too for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment.

Have a great weekend.
